SAFE AT SUNDANCE ANIMAL RESCUE
HELP US
OPEN THE GATES
The place is here. Help us prepare it
for the animals who need it.
Safe at Sundance Animal Rescue is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit farm-animal rescue and sanctuary being built on five acres in Placerville, California
Our family has already committed the property, time, resources and labor
needed to begin turning this land into a safe haven. With reinforced fencing, existing pasture areas, a barn, chicken coop and solar
infrastructure already in place, the foundation is being built.
Now we are raising the funds needed to complete essential animal shelters, strengthen our water infrastructure, prepare for safe animal
transportation and purchase the equipment and supplies required to
responsibly begin accepting animals.
Our goal isn't simply to open, It's to open responsibly and build something that can continue protecting animals for years to come.

OUR STORY
Built by family.
Created for animals.
Safe at Sundance wasn't created in a boardroom.
It began with our family's belief that we could
use our land, our work and our resources to
create something meaningful for animals
who need another chance.

HOW IT BEGAN
For years we witnessed the heartbreaking reality of farm animals facing neglect, abandonment and displacement. We knew we wanted to do more, not someday, but now.
When the opportunity came to purchase five acres
of beautiful land in Placerville, we knew this
could be the place.
A place where animals could find safety, healing
and a future filled with compassion.
WHAT YOUR GIFT HELPS BUILD

ANIMAL SHELTERS
Safe, weather protected shelters appropriate for goats, sheep, donkeys, miniature cattle, alpacas,
llamas, rabbits and poultry.

WATER
INFRASTRUCTURE
Reliable water is essential to animal welfare. Repairing and strengthening the property's well and water system is a major pre-opening priority.

ANIMAL RANSPORT &
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
Our long-term plan includes 2-3 cargo vans equipped with
tow-packages and animal transport trailers, helping us safely transport animals and prepare for
evacuation situations.

RESCUE READINESS
Feed storage, fencing improvements, veterinary supplies, feeders, water equipment and essential infrastructure required to begin accepting animals responsibly.
WE'VE BUILT THE FOUNDATION.
NOW HELP US FINISH THE SAFE HAVEN.
We dedicated approximately five acres of our Placerville property to create a safe haven for animals who may otherwise have nowhere safe to go.
The property already includes pasture areas, a small barn, chicken coop and perimeter fencing reinforced with hog wire. Solar infrastructure has also been installed, and family and friends have contributed significant labor toward preparing the property.
Before animals arrive, we want to make sure we have the shelters, water infrastructure, transportation capabilities, equipment and resources necessary to care for them responsibly.
Every shelter built, every improvement completed and every gift received brings us closer to opening day.
